Legoland!
We (finally!) ventured all the way down to Carlsbad to visit Legoland yesterday, and oh my how the children loved it! We stayed until the park closed and even then Tess begged, “More Yegoyand peese, Mommy, right now!”

What's In a Name?
I had to take Gabe to the pediatrician yesterday. Nothing was seriously wrong, but he had a small boo-boo that needed a doctor’s care. (In case you’re counting, that’s four pediatrician visits in four weeks. Going to the pediatrician is my new, very expensive hobby.)

A Note From the Editor
Thanks to my friend J for finding this cartoon; it gave me the laugh I badly needed yesterday while I was dealing with the fallout from a certain toddler having a double ear infection accompanied by a rather unpleasant reaction to her antibiotics. (All is well and she is on the mend after her second visit to the pediatrician yesterday.)

WatchNow, here is the long-awaited footage from Saturday’s first swimming lesson! HUGE success. (For reference, Gabe cried through his first three lessons, despite the fact that Zoie is probably the kindest, most patient swim instructor in the whole entire world.) When the lesson ended, Tess asked Zoie for “More kicks and paddles! Don’t wanna get out!”
