Bedtime Stories
We have amended our longstanding bedtime ritual to allow Tessa to stay up for one bedtime story with Gabe. She has gotten into the habit of actually getting into bed with him, and now every night they cuddle up together to listen to Knuffle Bunny or Goodnight Moon or Brownie Groundhog and the February Fox.

This is my rocking horse from when I was a toddler. Tessa cannot get enough of it. She rocks so hard she can propel herself across the floor. (Try to ignore the approximately 1,832 action figures strewn across the background landscape please.)

Why It's Great to Have a Boy
Last night after tucking Gabe into bed, I laid down and cuddled up to him for a few minutes. This is standard procedure; he likes to have either Matt or me lay with him for a bit while he gets sleepy.

I spent a long weekend in Atlanta with one of my best friends. Lots of story telling, laughing, wine drinking, club soccer, sightseeing, and happiness was involved. It was wonderful. Gabe is a Model, Again
Gabe has been picky about his clothes since he was a toddler. Now he’s upped the ante to being extremely picky about his clothes, plus he’s into accessories too. The Guys
On Sunday we went to a 4th birthday party for one of Gabe’s very best buddies, the amazing L. We have known L since he was an infant, and it kind of astonishes me that now he’s 4. I still tend to picture him as a little baby crawling up to me and cheerfully making the sign for “milk” in an attempt to get me to sneak him a bottle.

WatchI just love this. Last night we sang our way through dinner. Even though no broccoli was consumed (despite my best efforts and copious amounts of butter), it was unquestionably a successful meal.

This leads me to three conclusions:
We need to be WAY more careful about what we say/play on the radio/watch on TV in front of this kid, because he just absorbs it all like a SPONGE;

A Jedi Joined Me for Breakfast This Morning
